C-Dogs SDL is an action-packed shooter game that allows up to four players to play together in cooperative or various PvP modes. Originally developed in the late 1990s by Ronny Wester for MS-DOS, C-Dogs gained a dedicated following despite its relative obscurity. In 2002, Ronny released the game code, enabling a new group of developers to port it to SDL for modern computers.
The game features over a dozen campaigns with unique rules inspired by different video games like Doom, providing a fresh perspective on classic gameplay. Players can even create and import their own campaigns, offering endless hours of entertainment. All campaigns can be played solo or cooperatively with up to four players, except for the deathmatch mode, which is exclusively for multiplayer competition using a variety of weapons like machine guns, shotguns, and grenades.
Offering a nostalgic run-and-gun experience, C-Dogs SDL is a highly entertaining game that can be enjoyed solo or with friends on the same PC or through a local network. Its versatility and engaging gameplay make it a must-play for fans of the genre.
